Exposition itinérante à Hamamatsu – Osaka – Fukuoka – Tokyo

Cette exposition en partenariat avec la Région Normandie et la Fondation Franco-Japonaise Sasakawa, tenue en collaboration avec Maruhon et Nomura Kogeisha sera présentée dans 4 lieux dédiés au bois. L’exposition est également sous le parrainage de l’Ambassade de France / Institut français du Japon. « for REST » mettra en dialogue les oeuvres scientifiques de Claire Damesin et son équipe de l’Université Paris-Saclay avec nos oeuvres artistiques. Chaque photographie sera encadrée avec les chutes de parquet des projets de Maruhon. Le titre « for REST » évoque cette approche respectueuse du matériau bois, la valorisation des restes ainsi que la tranquillité ressentie au sein des arbres et de la forêt.
This exhibition in partnership with the Normandy Region and the Franco-Japanese Sasakawa Foundation, held in collaboration with Maruhon and Nomura Kogeisha will be presented in 4 places dedicated to wood. The exhibition is also sponsored by the French Embassy / French Institute in Japan. “for REST” will bring together the scientific works of Claire Damesin and her team from the University of Paris-Saclay with our artistic works. Each photograph will be framed with parquet offcuts from Maruhon’s projects. The title “for REST” evokes this respectful approach to the wood material, the recovery of leftovers as well as the tranquility felt within trees and forests.
